Marketing Coordinator: Social Media | Content Creation

Reports To: VP Sales and Marketing


Trimark Properties seeks a Social Media Manager & Content Creator to join our company. This is a pivotal role on the marketing team, and is responsible for collaborating with team members to create content that connects with the audience’s hearts and minds—driving them towards purchasing from our award-winning companies. Identify target audiences, actively expand connections and followers, set campaign goals and understand how to measure success, and work with an outstanding team consisting of VP of Sales and Marketing, Digital Marketers, Graphic Designers, and Web Developers.
The successful candidate is creative and capable; producing stories designed to educate and inspire is your passion, and you possess strong writing, photography and videography skills. You understand when to shoot quickly with an iPhone versus when to invest more time into content with a DSLR and stabilizer. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and publishing new projects daily. You’re passionate about clean graphic design, visual storytelling, and great copy; on top of that, you love sharing your talents with the world. You know Adobe Creative Suite, Canva (for when you want something quick and easy), and complete small video edits with some text and images as needed. Most of all, you love it when your ads and posts WORK, creating not only engagement but action in the right target audience, and you love watching the target audience numbers rise. Essential Functions:

  • Designs, builds, and maintains social media presence; focuses on social media strategy that converts to sales.
  • Creates and publishes high quality digital content across multiple channels: YouTube, company websites, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, blogs, Snapchat, Mailchimp, and occasionally for print production (brochure, signage, etc.).
  • Plans and executes social media, and ad buying campaigns, plus web, email and print campaigns when needed.
  • Attends (or schedules other team members to attend) occasional after-hours business events as needed and document them by taking candid pictures and posting about them on social media.
  • Measures and reports performance of marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Required Skills/Qualifications

  • BA. in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, Social Media, Public Relations, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of Social Media Management and/or Digital Content Creation experience.
  • Portfolio or examples of previous projects required.
  • Proficient in: Adobe Creative Suite, Hubspot, Mailchimp, Wordpress, Social Media apps
  • Proficient in writing ad copy in various "voices" for different brands
  • Measures and reports performance of marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Excellent organizational skills, written communication and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong eye for design and image/brand compatibility.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
