The company relocation incentive helps businesses that want to relocate and create new jobs in Gainesville. Eligible companies may receive up to $50,000 in compensation for most relocation costs.

High-Wage Job Creation

If your company plans on creating high-wage jobs in Gainesville, this is for you. Eligible companies may receive compensation for every high wage job that is created and maintained; that pays at least 150% of Alachua County’s average annual wage. Businesses will be awarded a grant, paid out over two years, beginning at $3,000 per worker.

High-Impact Performance Incentive Grant

This grant was created to attract major high impact facilities in Florida. To be eligible, businesses must create new jobs, make investments in the community, and overall have an impact in the local area.

The Quick Response Training Program is an employer-driven training program designed to assist new value-added businesses and provide existing Florida businesses the necessary training for expansion. Businesses that qualify may receive from $1,500, 2,000 per employee.
