Double Rooms are ideal for students who do not want to have their own room, would prefer the social atmosphere of a double, or have a smaller budget. Doubles are significantly less expensive than single suites. At Windsor Hall, placement into the chosen floorplan is guaranteed with signed housing agreement (as opposed to placement in the traditional dorms, where dorm preference and room style are not guaranteed).
At Windsor Hall, each Double room comes equipped with 2 closets, 2 bed sets, 2 desk sets, windows with blinds, and a pre-installed ceiling fan. All rooms include central a/c and plush carpeting (limited hardwood floor upgrades available).
Every double room at Windsor Hall has an attached kitchenette and bathroom. The attached kitchenettes include a medium sized fridge with separate freezer, microwave, sink, kitchen countertop and cabinets.
Important roommate information: remember that residents at the Windsor Hall luxury residence hall can choose between living with a requested friend, or using an professional roommate matching system. This is a large advantage over the traditional UF residence halls (which offer random roommate assignment based on gender alone, and no personality or roommate matching questionnaire).

Luxury residence halls offer guaranteed placement into Double Suites with signed housing agreement-- but you must sign up before all of the rooms fill. Double Suites fill very early for Fall move-in. Reservations should be made by mid-February.

Reservation Process
- Rooms are filling quickly for Summer B 2013 and Fall 2013 move-in.
- Most students choose to reserve via email. This is a very easy process which can secure a room for Fall or Summer B. To reserve via email, click here and enter your information. Reservation paperwork will be emailed to you with instructions (remember: your room is not reserved until we receive the completed paperwork. Several room styles are already full, and the remaining rooms are filling quickly).
- Not sure that Windsor Hall is right for you? Tour and compare both Windsor Hall and the traditional UF residence halls. Once you see the difference in person, you’re sure to choose Windsor Hall. Click here to schedule a tour in person. Tours are available Monday – Saturday, by appointment. You can reserve your room after your tour.
